What is Beta 1,3/1,6 glucan? (Pictured
at right ingested by and inside activated immune cells!)
-
IMMUNE
SYSTEM ENHANCER - The goal in
health is "Don't get it" or "Get over it!" Your immune response and immune
cells in top form are your key to both at all ages, comprising 1/5th of all the
cells in your body. M G Beta glucan
is a Nutritional and Natural Immune Cell Potentiator and Modulator that
nutritionally contributes to normalization of your immune cells. MG Beta
1,3/1,6
glucan is scientifically
defined as a Biological Defense Modifier extracted as an isolate
without change in chemical composition.
-
SAFE
- Source is FDA classified as G R A S (a safe food source) with no serious
adverse side effects or negative interactions with prescription pharmaceuticals
known to date (check with your personal health care professional or pharmacist).
-
POTENT
- Macrophages and other immune cells in the brain, lungs, skin, mucous membranes,
intestinal tract, liver and more have special receptors for Beta glucan, although
Beta glucan is not made naturally by the body. MG Beta 1,3/1,6 glucan is two to
ten times more potent in nitric oxide burst production than other glucans and is taken orally with no
prescription.
-
FAST ACTING
- MG glucan is U.S. Medical School researched to yield micronization (extremely small
particle sizes) and disaggregation (won't clump back to a larger size
during digestion)
to enhance ingestion timing and ingestion occurrence.
-
AMOUNT TO TAKE
- Suggested are 3
to 10 mg a day of MG glucan to nutritionally contribute to activation of the white immune cells and in turn the
entire immune cascade. Suggested amounts to take are listed on labels of
individual products or call 888-541-3997. Beta glucan does not accumulate
or build up in the body and excesses will be eliminated through natural body
processes.
-
WHY NEEDED?
- 20
trillion of 100 trillion cells in your body are immune cells to protect you from
what would harm and age you and 15+ trillion of those cells have Beta 1,3/1,6
glucan receptors - MG Beta glucan's form - even though your body does not
produce Beta glucan. Why? Immune cells are like soldiers that must
be nourished, kept alert, armed and able to fight in great numbers. MG
glucan nutritionally potentiates and modulates in a normalization process for your immune army.

Nutritional Scientific Corporation announced that
major medical school research at the University of Nevada School of Medicine,
Department of Microbiology under the direction of Dr. Kenneth W. Hunter, Jr. ScD continues in 2011. Research results offering further evidence of the immune
response potentiation potential of MG Beta Glucan are reported in the May 2004
edition of the peer-reviewed "Immunology Letters," with an abstract available by
clicking on "2004 Beta Glucan
Research Abstract."
The years 2008 through 2011 have brought exciting
research results in the critical area of adjuvant possibilities for vaccines for
MG Glucan. The research under supervision of Dr. Kenneth W. Hunter Jr. is
ongoing with initial results reported in August of 2008 in the peer-reviewed
Applied Microbiology Biotechnical publication and summarized in the Abstract in
PubMed"
Hunter KW Jr, Berner VK, Sura ME; "Conjugation
of protein antigen to microparticulate beta-glucan from Saccharomyces
cerevisiae: a new adjuvant for intradermal and oral immunizations," Dept of
Microbiology and Immunology, U of Nev Sch of Medicine, Reno, NV 89557, USA. Appl
Microbiol Biotechnol; PuMed 18677470; Epub Aug 2, 2008:
Quote: "Our laboratory has prepared and
characterized a novel microparticulate beta-glucan (MG)...we hypothesized that
MG could serve as a vaccine adjuvant to enhance specific immune responses. ...When
used to immunize mice by the intradermal route, these conjugates enhanced the
primary IgG antibody response to BSA in a manner comparable to the prototypic
complete Freund's adjuvant....These results suggest that protein antigens
can be conjugated to MG via a carabondiimide linkage and that these
conjugates provide an adjuvant effect for stimulating the antibody response to
the protein antigens."
Years 2002-2011 have been a banner period for MG Beta Glucan research
beginning with the
issuance in November 2002 of U.S. Patent 6,476,003
related to a unique process for production of nonaggregated microparticulate
glucan marketed exclusively as MG Beta Glucan to Co-Inventors Frank M. Jordan,
Kenneth W. Hunter, Jr. and Ruth Gault.
Dr. Kenneth W. Hunter, Jr. and associates had published
in October 2002 a peer-reviewed article in the Letters in Applied Microbiology that conclusively
demonstrates small particle glucan that does not reaggregate is a "superior" immune
potentiator. Read this important scientific report that confirms MG Beta
glucan now being produced in the NSC laboratory is proven to be appropriate in
dosage and "superior" in potency. Click here now:

What makes different Beta Glucan products good, bad or indifferent? Read this
IMMUNITION report on How to
Evaluate Beta
Glucans to learn what truly potentiates the immune
system and how processing is critical both in preventing factors that can negate
glucan immune system enhancement and in providing a microparticulate particle
size optimum for immune response potentiation.
If you want scientific confirmation that MG is
truly a microparticulate with outstanding composition characteristics, read the actual
U.S. Patent on the
process to produce MG Beta Glucan.
